The FAAN Training School operates under the strategic leadership of Mrs. Oluwatoyin C. Akinlade (PhD, FCIPM), who provides overall direction and oversight for the School’s training, capacity-building, and human capital development mandate.
Core Units
🧑💼 Human Resource Development (HRD)
The Human Resource Development Unit is responsible for the planning and coordination of staff development programmes across FAAN. The Unit also oversees the placement of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members and interns on Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) in various departments of the Authority, providing industry exposure, mentorship, and professional development for early-career participants.
🎓 Management Training
The Management Training Unit identifies underlying training gaps of the human capital in the Authority, designs and delivers professional training programmes for FAAN personnel and aviation industry stakeholders. The Unit focuses on enhancing managerial competence, leadership effectiveness, and organizational performance through structured training aligned with national priorities and international best practices.
